Workshop by HAN (WSHAN) offers books and independent publications created by HAN and friends, alongside a selection of products from authors, artists, designers, craftspeople, small brands, and independent makers in Vietnam.

Please read the following information before placing an order.

1. Placing an Order

You can select products on our website, add them to your cart, and follow the checkout process to submit your order.

If online payment is not available, or if a product requires additional confirmation regarding quantity, availability, or shipping, WSHAN will contact you by email after receiving your order request.

Before submitting your order, please check carefully:

• product name and version;

• quantity;

• recipient’s full name and phone number;

• shipping address;

• email address;

• any additional order notes, if applicable.

2. Order Confirmation

After receiving your order, WSHAN will check product availability and send you a confirmation email.

An order is considered confirmed after you receive confirmation from WSHAN and complete the required payment, where advance payment applies.

Some products are produced in small quantities, available as one-of-a-kind pieces, or sold both online and directly through our spaces. A product shown as available on the website may therefore occasionally sell out before the system has been updated.

If this happens, WSHAN will contact you and propose an appropriate solution.

If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder or contact us using the email address listed on workshop-han.com.

3. Pricing

Product prices are displayed on the relevant product pages.

For custom orders, made-to-order products, special editions, or products without a fixed price, WSHAN will provide a quotation before any work or production begins.

4. Packaging & Gift Wrapping

WSHAN aims to use sufficient packaging to protect products during transportation while avoiding unnecessary materials whenever possible.

If your order is intended as a gift, you may leave a note when placing the order.

Depending on the product and available materials, WSHAN will let you know whether gift wrapping is possible and whether an additional fee applies.

You may also request that price information not be included inside the package.

5. Changes & Cancellations

If you need to change the shipping address, telephone number, product, or quantity, please contact WSHAN as soon as possible.

Orders can generally only be changed or cancelled before they have been packed, dispatched, or entered into production.

Custom-made, personalized, signed, made-to-order, printed-on-demand, or specially produced items cannot normally be cancelled once production has begun.

6. Returns & Refunds

WSHAN does not generally accept returns or exchanges simply because a customer changes their mind, unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page.

We will consider a return, exchange, or refund where:

• the product delivered does not match the confirmed order;

• an item is missing from the order;

• the product has a manufacturing or production defect that materially affects its use;

• the product has been significantly damaged during delivery.

Please contact WSHAN within 3 days of receiving your order and provide your order number, photographs showing the condition of the product, and photographs of the outer packaging.

For products that arrive damaged or appear to have manufacturing, production, or packing defects, customers are strongly encouraged to record a complete video of the package-opening process.

The video should clearly show the parcel before opening and the complete unboxing process without editing, cutting, or alteration.

If the available evidence clearly confirms that the product was already damaged or defective before or during unpacking due to a manufacturing, production, packing, or delivery issue, WSHAN will arrange an appropriate solution.

Depending on the circumstances and product availability, this may include:

• replacement with a new product of the same type;

• exchange for another agreed product;

• refund of the product value.

Where the defect or damage is confirmed to be the responsibility of WSHAN, the producer, or the shipping process, WSHAN will cover the reasonable shipping cost of returning the defective product and sending a replacement.

If the same product is no longer available, WSHAN will contact the customer to arrange a refund for the product and any applicable original shipping fee previously paid by the customer.

Please do not return any product before receiving return instructions from WSHAN.

Products will not normally be accepted for return or exchange where damage has resulted from use, improper handling, incorrect storage, accidents, or other actions occurring after the customer received the product.

Each defective product is normally eligible for one replacement or exchange.

For handmade, handcrafted, hand-bound, naturally sourced, or individually produced products, minor differences may occur between individual pieces.

These may include variations in:

• color;

• texture;

• surface;

• shape;

• dimensions;

• grain;

• pattern;

• finishing details.

Similar natural variations may also occur in books, prints, photographs, plants, ceramics, textiles, wood, stone, and other natural or handmade materials.

These variations are part of the character of the product and are not generally considered defects where they are consistent with the description and nature of the item.

If WSHAN offers free shipping as part of a promotion or special offer, WSHAN will pay the applicable shipping fee according to the conditions of that offer.

7. Pre-orders & Custom-made Products

Some books and products may be offered on a pre-order basis.

Estimated publication, production, or delivery dates will be stated on the relevant product page where available.

These dates are estimates and may change due to printing, production, material availability, or shipping.

If an order contains both available items and pre-order items, WSHAN may ship the complete order once all items are ready.

If you would like available products to be shipped separately, additional shipping fees may apply to each shipment.

Custom-made products will be produced according to the specifications agreed between the customer and WSHAN.

8. Invoices & Proof of Purchase

Order confirmation and payment information will normally be provided electronically.

If you require an invoice or other purchasing documents, please provide the necessary information when placing your order.

The availability and form of invoices may depend on the specific product, seller, producer, or consignment arrangement applicable to that item.

WSHAN will let you know if additional information is required or if a particular request cannot be fulfilled.

9. International Orders

International shipping depends on the destination country, product type, applicable regulations, and the conditions of the shipping provider.

Please contact WSHAN before placing an international order so that we can check shipping availability and estimated costs.

The recipient is responsible for any import taxes, customs duties, clearance fees, or other charges imposed in the destination country, where applicable.

Certain products, including plants, food, beverages, natural materials, oversized objects, or fragile items, may not be eligible for international shipping.
